KEX, Portland’s design-focused social hotel brings together the best design elements of a boutique hotel while embracing the energy of the neighborhood to become a community gathering place, creative hub, and destination for travelers and locals alike.

Who we are looking for:

KEX is hiring for driven and organized room and laundry attendants to bring our social hotel to life. The right candidate will be someone who works well within a team environment, while being self-motivated.

A candidate will be responsible but not limited too:

• Cleaning guest rooms and common spaces according to schedules and assignments determined by management
• Change bed linens, replace towels, empty trash, and replenish amenities.
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and dusting of guest rooms and public spaces.
• Handle and process found guest items according to the lost & found policy and procedures outlined by management.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards at all times.
• Laundry- Ability to wash, sort, and fold linens

A candidate should be able to:

• Communicate in English, both written and oral forms.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders to make upper bunk beds
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred but not required
